Between 500,000 and 800,000 Russian citizens who entered the peninsula illegally are remaining in the Russia-occupied Crimea

This was announced at the briefing by the representative of Ukraine's President in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Tamila Tasheva.
Tasheva also said that it is currently unknown what status Crimea will receive after deoccupation. It can remain an autonomous republic, as it is now, or become an ordinary region with a separate status for Sevastopol.
