The Mariupol City Council informs about this on Telegram.
"In Mariupol, about 150 people die every week. That is, almost 25 people every day. Almost no children are born. The city is dying under occupation," the press service said.
It is reported that about 5-6 children are born every week in the occupied city. Compared to the data before the full-scale invasion of Russia, about 50 babies were born in Ukrainian Mariupol in seven days.
Today, the death rate has increased four to five times compared to the pre-war period.
"The Russians brought death and hopelessness with them. We believe in only one thing - the return of Mariupol under the Ukrainian flag!" added in the press service.
