A fire breaks out in Moscow’s military unit

This was reported by the Moscow City News Agency.

The fire occurred on the 3rd street of Sokolina Gora, 10, eastern Moscow. The fire spread in one-story boxes on the territory of a military unit.

The fire area is about 200 m2 . The Moscow department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations confirmed the incident and clarified that a duty officer received the fire report at 11:45 pm on December 22 (local time).

• On December 6, a fire broke out at an airfield in Kursk, local authorities reported a drone attack.
• On December 15, an explosion and a massive fire occurred at the oil refinery of the Angarsk Petrochemical Company in the Irkutsk region, Russia, killing 2 people and injuring 5 others. The explosion was so strong that the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences recorded seismic activity in the region.
• On December 18, in the village of Verkhnemarkovo, Irkutsk region of Russia, an oil and gas condensate field caught fire, the fire area was 1,000 m2.  
• And on December 20, a gas pipeline exploded in Chuvashia. The pipeline is the only one that goes through Ukraine to Europe. At least 3 Russians died as a result of the accident, another person is in severe condition.
