A batch of Tor-M2K anti-aircraft missile systems from Russia arrives in Belarus

It is reported that Belarus received this batch of weapons under the intergovernmental agreement on military-technical cooperation with Russia.
In the coming days, the complexes will be delivered to the units. The personnel has already been trained and mastered the SAM systems.
Major General Leonid Kasinsky, Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work of the Ministry of Defense, believes that Tor-M2K anti-aircraft missile systems are an effective means of defeating various types of air targets, in particular high-speed and low-speed ones.

Major General Leonid Kasinsky, Assistant Minister of Defense for Ideological Work in the Belarusian Armed Forces, Head of the Main Directorate of Ideological Work of the Ministry of Defense, said this on the STV TV channel.
The batch of weapons was received within the framework of the existing intergovernmental agreement on military-technical cooperation between Belarus and Russia. In the coming days, these systems will be delivered to the formations and military units where they are intended. The personnel has already been trained and successfully mastered these systems.
Leonid Kasinsky noted that it is an effective means of engaging various types of air targets, both high-speed and low-speed, at a sufficiently long range.
