95 Ukrainian soldiers brought home from captivity, Azovstal defenders among them
On Sunday, 11 June, Ukraine brought 95 defenders from the Armed Forces, the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service home from Russian captivity
This was reported by the Head of the Presidential Office Andriy Yermak.
"95 soldiers of the Armed Forces, the National Guard and the State Border Guard Service are going to their families. In general, these are Ukrainian prisoners of war from the Chornobyl nuclear power plant, Snake Island, near Bakhmut and Mariupol, Donetsk region.
Among them are 93 privates and sergeants and two officers.
"We also managed to return the participants of the special operation who were flying by helicopter to the besieged Mariupol to Azovstal. Many of our men were wounded in captivity," Yermak wrote.
The State Border Guard Service reported the return of 11 of its soldiers.

Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets wrote:
"They are holding a blue and yellow flag, hugging their friends, calling their loved ones... It is a joy to see these photos, but at the same time it is indescribably painful. We are doing everything possible to ensure that every defender returns from captivity."
