90% of population are evacuated from Luhansk region's large cities, but Russian occupiers prepare for staged referendum, confident of result - Gaidai

90% of residents in the Luhansk region's large cities have left, but this does not prevent Russians from preparing for the "referendum" and being confident of the result.

This was reported by the head of the Luhansk regional military administration Sergiy Gaidai.

"They were expecting to manage in Ukraine in three days, but they have been stuck in the Luhansk region, the unconquered Donbas, for almost half a year. 90% of the population of large cities evacuated from the Luhansk region - this is higher than the indicators of the most successful referendums," Gaidai wrote.

The head of the region emphasized that Russian forces are confident in the results of the pseudo-referendum.

"Russians are confident in the results of the pseudo-referendum, which has not yet taken place, although they do not say a word about winter. And why, if they organize the vote at the beginning of autumn?" emphasized the regional head.

The occupiers demonstrate their "concern" for the population with free bread, hot lunches that will be distributed in Severodonetsk, and the opportunity to take a shower once every three months.

In addition, "high officials" promise to renovate the schools.

"Most of which have been renovated over the past three years as part of the "Great construction" and other state support programs. So who will study in these schools? Graduation took place in the same Severodonetsk, five people received LPR certificates," added Gaidai.
