700,000 Ukrainian refugees have registered in Germany
More than 700,000 Ukrainian refugees have been recorded in Germany.

Reuters reported these figures, citing data from the German Interior Ministry.
From February 24 to May 11, 727,205 people were registered in the Central Register of Foreigners of Germany (AZR), 93% have Ukrainian citizenship. A significant part of them may have traveled to other countries of the European Union or returned to Ukraine.
About 40% of Ukrainian refugees were minors, women accounted for 81% of registered adult refugees.
The International Organization for Migration reported that the Russian invasion has caused mass displacement, including more than 8 million Ukrainians who have left their homes but stay in Ukraine. The number of people who fled Ukraine exceeded 6 million.
