This is reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation.
After the Russian aerial attack on December 14, Russia promotes the fake that five Patriot missile launchers, one command vehicle, and a radar were destroyed near Zhytomyr, as well as 80 ready-to-launch missiles worth USD 5.5 million and 160 missiles in stock.
According to Russian propagandists, Russia practically destroyed the annual production of MIM-104 missiles in one strike.
"The Center has verified the information and reports that such fakes are just sick fantasies of invading Russian forces who are doing everything to cover up the failures of their hypersonic missiles, which have been regularly shot down by MIM-104 Patriot since the spring of 2023," the statement says.
- On the afternoon of December 14, Russians fired Kh-47 Kinzhal missiles toward Starokostiantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region. There were explosions there, as well as in the Kyiv and Zhytomyr region.
