44 children, illegally deported by Russia, are returned to Ukraine in June

44 children illegally deported by Russia have been returned to Ukraine, most of them are orphans or children deprived of parental care

This was reported by the Ministry of Reintegration.

44 children from those illegally taken by the Russian aggressors to the temporarily occupied territories and to the Russian Federation managed to return to their homeland last month with the assistance of the Ministry of Reintegration. Most of the returnees are orphans and children deprived of parental care. The representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration spoke about this at the meeting of the Council on issues related to the life and safety of children in war and post-war times, which works at the Office of the President of Ukraine.

Today, the Ministry of Reintegration has a special algorithm for how to behave if you learn about the illegal transfer of an orphaned child to the temporarily occupied territories or to the Russian Federation. The Government is also developing changes to the mechanism for adopting children during martial law. It is about the fact that young Ukrainians who have lost their parents can find a new family as soon as possible.
