$300 billion frozen by the West by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation reserved for the reconstruction of Ukraine, - Ustenko, the adviser to the president
More than $ 300 billion of international currency reserves of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, frozen by the West, have already been reserved for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Oleh Ustenko, the President's adviser on economic issues, announced this on the Rada TV channel.
"The president has set a task to develop a plan to restore Ukraine's economy as soon as there is peace. And there are such positive changes, which are that the funds that were frozen by the Central Bank - more than $300 billion. They are already reserved for Ukraine, "Ustenko said.
To these funds will be added the proceeds from the sale of seized foreign assets of the Russian Federation and sanctioned individuals.
According to Ustenko, these funds will be enough to restore Ukraine's economy at a very fast, short pace.
"We already have to count on $300 billion - these are the funds that were in the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and which are already frozen, and a fund is already being formed for Ukraine, which can be used to rebuild the country," Ustenko said.
We remind you that earlier senators of the USA offered to block reserves of the Russian Federation in gold.
