21 people die, 44 more are injured in Russian shelling of Kharkiv

The number of people killed as a result of the Russian shelling of Kharkiv has increased to at least 21 people

This was reported by the spokesman of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, Dmytro Chubenko, RBC-Ukraine reports.

"There are already 16 dead and 22 injured in the Saltiv district. The last two corpses are a 50-year-old woman, an immigrant from Kulynychi, and the last one is badly burned, probably a man, to be determined more precisely", Chubenko said. 

According to the prosecutor's office, 5 people were killed and 22 others were injured in the Slobidsky district. The spokesman of the prosecutor's office added that rescue operations in the area were completed, and a 39-year-old man was the last to be pulled out from under the rubble.
