20,000 Russian soldiers remain in operational encirclement in southern Ukraine

Taras Berezovets, an officer with the 1st Detached Special Brigade named after Ivan Bohun, says that on the right bank of the Dnipro there are units of the so-called DPR and LPR, and units from Russian regions

He shared the details with Espreso TV.

"There are no Buryats left on the right bank of the Dnipro. There was a brigade of airborne assault troops there, which lost 60% of its personnel. Now there are units of the so-called DPR and LPR, and units from Russian regions - Pskov paratroopers and the like," Berezovets explained.

According to him, the total number of the entire group on the right bank of the Dnipro is up to 20,000 Russian servicemen.

"They are actually in an operational encirclement. There were more of them, but they managed to take part of them to the left bank. If they try to cross the Dnipro River, the enemy will be destroyed, as all the crossings, every meter of the Dnipro is shot by HIMARS. Ukraine's Armed Forces must be allowed to finish the work without haste, without pushing, and demanding immediate results," Berezovets noted.
