200 Russian Guardsmen sent to occupied Kherson region, and up to 30% of patients in Horlivka hospitals are wounded Russians with frostbite — General Staff

This was reported by the AFU General Staff on February 13.

To combat sabotage in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region, the Russia sent about 200 Russian Guard troops there.

They were resettled on the territory of the Chaika recreation center in Lazurne, and the movement of local residents in the village is restricted.

Also, since January of this year, the number of servicemen of the Russian occupation forces with frostbite has increased significantly due to the inadequate provision of winter uniforms. For example, there are up to 30% of such patients in the medical facilities of Horlivka, Donetsk region.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine repel Russian attacks in 10 settlements in 4 regions

Over the past day, on February 12, the AFU repelled Russian attacks in the areas of Hryanykivka, Kharkiv region; Kreminna and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region;  Vyimka, Fedorivka, Vasiukivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske and Klishchiivka, Donetsk region; and Zaliznychne, Zaporizhzhia region.

Ukrainian soldiers hit ammunition depots and Russian military positions 

During the past day, the AFU aviation launched 8 attacks on Russian military positions, as well as 3 strikes on anti-aircraft missile system positions.

Rocket launchers and gunners hit 10 Russian military personnel positions, 1 position of anti-aircraft defense and 3 ammunition depots.

Despite suffering serious losses, Russian invading forces are focused on the offensive in 5 directions

The enemy suffers significant losses, especially in personnel. They are concentrated in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Vuhledar directions.

During the day, Russian military launched 4 missile strikes and 85 MLRS attacks 

The enemy launched 4 missile strikes and 85 MLRS attacks. 

The threat of further Russian air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Near the state Ukrainian border with Russia and Belarus no enemy offensive groups have been detected.

Areas of 18 settlements were shelled in the Sumy region and Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of 22 districts of populated areas. 

In the Bakhmut direction, 16 settlements were shelled by tank, mortar and artillery.

In the Avdiivka and Vuhledar direction, 25 settlements of the Donetsk region came under tank, mortar and artillery shelling. Russian air strikes were recorded near 3 of them.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, more than 11 settlements were affected by fire.

In the Kherson direction, 20 settlements and the city of Kherson were damaged by enemy artillery fire.
