179 settlements in Kherson region freed from Russian occupation this week

The Ukrainian military de-occupied 179 settlements of the Kherson region, a territory of more than 4.5 thousand square kilometers.

"Stabilization measures, including demining, are being carried out by units of the Defense Forces in liberated settlements and in the territories of the Mykolaiv and Kherson regions," the press service informs.

The operational command reports that during the night, the occupiers shelled the right bank of the Dnieper with S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, and there were no casualties.

"The enemy does not stop shelling the positions of our units and territorial communities adjacent to the contact line, conducts aerial reconnaissance. It also continues to strike critical infrastructure, civilian objects and the territories of the rear regions", - emphasizes OC South.
