Polish farmers fail to provide evidence of Ukrainian grain returning from Lithuania to Poland

Lithuanian Minister of Agriculture Kęstutis Navickas says customs has no evidence that Ukrainian grain from Lithuania is being returned to Poland

LRT reports.

According to him, more Polish grain is imported to Lithuania than Lithuanian grain to Poland, and he called the fears of farmers from the neighboring country unfounded.

At the same time, Polish farmers did not file complaints or provide evidence to Lithuania that some of the Ukrainian grain imported to Lithuania is returning to Poland.

"We have not received such complaints, we have not recorded such facts. Speaking with the customs, and there was a meeting today, [I can say that] they have very clear algorithms on how to identify in which cases there may be certain unlawful actions. Similar actions have also not been recorded," the minister noted.
