1,137 people killed in Bucha district, 461 people in Bucha city: preliminary figures for victims of Russian aggression

Some Russian servicemen who tortured and killed people in Bucha and surrounding settlements have already been identified, and several have been declared suspects.

National Police head Ihor Klymenko shared the figures on Facebook.

"A total of 116 bodies were at this burial site. Most of them were men. Some of the victims had bullet wounds, mine injuries and some bodies were burned. A total of 1,137 people died in the Bucha district, 461 in the city of Bucha," he said.

Among those in the mass grave, police found the body of a murdered policeman who was evacuating civilians from Bucha.

"The most important thing is that today we have established units located in the district and the city of Bucha: six battalion tactical groups of Russian airborne forces and one mechanized brigade. Now we are identifying all the servicemen. We have already identified some. 13 suspects have already been declared: 2 men - Rosguard servicemen, 11 men - Russian Armed Forces servicemen. 10 projects of suspicion were transferred to the Prosecutor's General Office," Ihor Klymenko said.
